Both the current president and his predecessor claim credit for low unemployment. To what extent are recent lows in unemployment rates due to the policies of these two presidents’ policies?
Perhaps very little. They may be due to the fiddling with the interest rates by the FED. They distort the perception of everyone in the economy, especially entrepreneurs and the people hiring others. Lately, it is being pointed out that the state has no positive role in the economy, only negative.

Excellent article highlights that unemployment did not go down due to good government policies, not Biden's or Trump's, but due to actions that affected the working class, including COVID.
