Korean lesson of the day: 벼락부자.
벼락 (byeorak) means thunderbolt or lightning.
부자 (buja) means rich person or wealthy person.
When combined 벼락부자 conveys the image of someone who suddenly becomes rich, often unexpectedly or without the slow accumulation usually expected by previous generations.
벼락부자 is nearly every young Korean's dream. No hard work expected, just sudden riches. That's probably also why degen gambling is so rampant here.
What does 4B mean?
Are these women crazy?
Do they need to be institutionalized?
