I almost forgot about Mock Draft Monday. The Raiders had their bye week, which means I'm not wallowing in the memory of a fresh humiliation.
Week 10 broke their way a little bit and the Raiders are now picking 5th. Unfortunately, the teams ahead of them also need QB's. In this draft, three of the first four picks were QB's. That didn't leave any who were worth spending a top five pick on.

  • 74th Pick: S Kevin Winston Jr.
  • 106th Pick: RB Ollie Gordon II
  • 142nd Pick: WR Tory Horton
  • 179th Pick: DE Anto Saka
  • 212th Pick: IOL Seth McLaughlin
  • 215th Pick: OT Jalen Travis
  • 220th Pick: QB Miller Moss
This draft was a disaster. Unless some of these guys wildly over perform, this is something of a worst case scenario. The board just refused to bread my way.

Don’t forget when the Raiders inevitably trade away their first round pick so they can pickup QB Daniel Jones from the Giants as an “upgrade.”
The 36th pick is really your first pick.

That's not really their style. More likely, they'll use that top 5 pick on a player no one even had mocked in the first round.

No, this one stunk. If I was doing trades, I definitely would have traded up for Sanders or down for Ewers.

Because we've been rebuilding for literally 20 years and the fans are sick of it. Also, there are some really good pieces on this team.
They just need to get QB, HC, and OC figured out. Ha!

Arch will be eligible in 2026. Whether he comes out that year is questionable though considering he isn't even starting yet in College.
