Very honest and powerful post. I don’t remember adding this blog to my RSS feed, but looks like he is a bitcoiner and has an account on here.

Beautiful, heart-wrenching. Horrible.
Im so sorry for your loss @dergigi.
Your words mean so much to me. Thank you.
I lost my uncle to suicide when I was a teen. And like most men, I feel, I have battled with those dark thoughts.
I grow a moustache every November for this reason. It’s silly but it’s a nod that we men don’t deal with these thoughts very well.

Terrible news. Gigi is one of the best in Bitcoin, and for me, the best.
It's not easy to make sense of suicide, or death for that matter, other than the logic of impermenance.
When my father died, in an apparent accident, coming to rest in a pool of blood, as I laid my hands on his body, I soon came to the feeling that everything was alright; my dad was alright, and his family left behind were alright. I felt like there was meaning to it, however elusive that meaning was. I realised that there was opportunity, even in the worst circumstance, because there was a new landscape, and people can do different things and be different people in new landscapes. The pain followed, but I was thankful for that moment of acceptance.
I hope Gigi can find peace going forward and live with joy in his heart.

Having experienced something similar a few years ago, I can say this...
It helps doing deep research into near death and out of body experiences. To truly know that life does not end when the body dies.
The research-based book Journey of the Souls is also very helpful.
Other than that, meditation and acceptance is key. The heart comes into view when you silence the mind chatter...

Deeply moving. Prayers for you and family.

Don't know this person or anything about them. But if a family is hurting our thoughts are with them. Mental health is an enormous challenge in the world today especially in the United States and we all need to talk about it more.
If you are struggling talk to your friends and family and get help we all need it sometimes.
Our thoughts are with you

I agree. Just for reference since I happened to see this, @dergigi is sort of a philosopher in the way he writes about Bitcoin, Money, and Life.

Sorry to see that post and know of his death. Something was too much for him to bear any longer! Was it pain? Was it the result of the pain, depression?
Personally, I look at pain as the message to me that I am still alive! I celebrate the pain, even though I dislike it, as the reassuring message that i still am.
