Give your daughter lots of love too. It's tough to go from only child to sibling getting less attention than the baby. My son was 8 when my daughter was born and even though he was older and understood that mom and dad needed to give a lot of attention to the baby and he was excited about having a sister it was still a difficult adjustment for him.
