I think boxing like MMA you can’t really group together heavy weights with Floyd or Manny just because the style and approach is so different

We should create a seperate list for before 1950s, I think. There were many greats from that era too. Jameson might be called the pioneer of black boxers as well.

It’s only cause I’m from the Houston area and went to Galveston so much as a kid that I know about him.
I thought you might be a very very old soul. ;)
The match I mentioned was done in 1910, I think so I know but because you want to Galveston, so you might have felt all the vibes that the legend left behind. He was culture and history of racism in the United States.
