Hans Zimmer always goes the extra mile with his scores. His music for Interstellar was *particularly* good though, I agree.

Cooper’s hero’s journey is the reason the film is so good. If the journey had been easier, the movie would not have done as well. You would not want to watch it the 

 time. I have to say the music was really good too.
