OK, the e-krona "FUD" is a little too much. It's a silly bureaucrat/academic exercise in grandiosity; won't go anywhere, won't be adopted at scale. (At least not without the next major plandemic or warmongering bs ushering in some "unprecedented" threat.)
As for the rest that Ioni mentions: They are fintech/bank technology services, so yes Swedes are well-supplied with ability to pay and move funds around.
"...most Swedish people don't see the point of Bitcoin"
Well yeah... until they try to spend their shitcoin outside of their pretty captured domestic currency:
For 20 years, USD/SEK hovered around 6-7 (ignore the weirdness of the post-dotcom boom); now it's embracing 11 -- a 69% depreciation in the unit. Wages and prices have increased, and do increase with the collapsing currency, but not to that magnitude. Swedes get expropriated, globally, having to work uphill against a weakening money
Saylor's presentation at BTC Prague 2023 is well worth a watch, and covers not only (previously) shithole countries like Argentina but also defunct money centers like Sweden.
Also, self-promotion: On Monetary Premia (The Daily Economy, Joakim Book)
