Greetings 👋 I visit Thailand quite often and have gone back and forth about making a permanent move by working at an international school in Bangkok.
I currently work in Asia at an international school and make about 100K baht and pay 5% tax.
How difficult is it to achieve a 100K baht salary in Bangkok as a licensed teacher (10 years experience) and what amount of tax do foreign teachers pay in Thailand?
Cheers!

I live in Singapore and used to aspire to teach in Thailand.
I would say 100k Baht is quite impossible in Thailand. You can check ajarn.com. I think 50-60k Baht is the norm. There are plenty of farang eager to live in Thailand, so I feel like that depresses the wages since the schools have no lack of applicants

I was curious to know how much 100k baht is worth, and I converted it with the Dollar and the Real. So the cost of living is low there. I'll take Brazil as an example (where I live.) It would be unthinkable for someone to live here -- not even reasonably, with that income.
