I did this last year. It was difficult, but I learned a ton.
They used discord (which wasn't my favorite), but everyone was really friendly and the curriculum was great. There were a lot of talented people in the cohort and many of the strongest went out of their way to be helpful, including a bunch of names on the list who got funded.
I was sort of expecting someone to pop out and ask for something from me by the end but that never happened. I wonder if I should apply again to see if they changed things from last year.
I don’t understand this? What does the application do? Can you be rejected? I want to apply to end these life sucking fiat banks!
Then apply, you got this 👀
Wish me luck EK
Success is not pursued. Success ensues.
I want 10% of your future income as a bitcoin dev
Hahah that’s if I ever make it
@remindme in 2 weeks
The seminars are free, inlcude expert material/speakers, and open discussion. I highly recommend appying to this if you are interested in Bitcoin OSS.
This is different than the seminars, which I think were a solid educational experience but didn’t prompt many to take the leap to being a ₿OSS contributor. This program is singularly focused on that outcome.

This program is great
Is that what you also did, @k00b? You mentioned you did something at Chaincode Labs iirc
I did the Chaincode Labs seminars, but those were more of a traditional course. My understanding is that this is more hands on.
This is different and will be more focused on coding than group discussion like the seminars.
Is it all remote?
Yes. All remote.
Thanks. I'll register.
Love to see this! We need more people working on core!
Yeah... but the CTA should be:
"Start my BOSS career"
i applied
What if I'm a super noob in coding? Should I register?
This is not meant for someone new to code. You are welcome to try but that’s not who we are targeting.
Thanks.
"Open to everyone."
Although you should probably take some crash courses.
if you don't ask the answer is always no
