The Rising Sun (Fork of Degen Corner and SN Bets)

There is a place on Stacker News
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God, I know I'm one

After losing his 23rd consecutive game in a row during the 1910-1911 seasons, Boston Braves pitcher Cliff Curtis famously said "Oh well. You can't win 'em all."

And win last week I did not. Hopefully, it won't be the start of a 23 week losing streak.

Here's how it played out:

The week started off fairly well. I hit my parlay on Monday Night Football and a small moneyline bet on the Dolphins but gave a bit of it back in NBA where I won 1/2 bets but lost the bigger one. Overall I was up around $2 for the day.

I was not so lucky on Tuesday betting on NBA cup games. I won one bet but lost two and ended up being down around $6 for the day.

On Wednesday, another NBA miss as I barely missed a parlay in the TWolves vs Blazers game. Down around $4 for the day.

I hit my parlay on Thursday Night Football which put me up around $5 for the day.

Friday I tried my luck with some NHL and that didn't work out well for me. I ended up down $5 for the day.

Saturday I hit my CFB parlay and my spread bet in the Raptors vs Celtics game. I was up $7 for the day.

Sunday I was hopeful I could hit at least two of my three parlays to get into the black for the week. But I only hit 1/3. I was down $6 for the day.

Ultimately, I was down $7 for the week.

After the NFL Season I will sweep any profits I have earned during the season into Bitcoin.

Current Profit: $122

Sats for all,

Suggestion: Instead of fiat profits (presumably Canadian), list how much more BTC you can buy now than if you had just bought BTC at the start.
