The problem is I don't think Native Americans are the ones pushing for land acknowledgments. At least, not the majority of them. This is an invention of liberal academia, much like the term "Latinx" which is proven to be disliked by the average Hispanic person.

"If it makes people feel better and gives them closure"..... but who are we trying to make feel better? Liberal academics?
