I want to buy a dash cam.
Does anyone have one?

Nextbase has been good for me. I see people recommending Viofo too.

Any issues with battery life or mount stability?

My Nextbase cam uses the 3M style mount, not the suction cup type, and it's been excellent. The mount is fixed nicely to the windshield, and the camera attached with a strong magnet.
It's wired in, so can't comment on battery life. It came with a little plastic tool for helping to push the wire into the edge of the interior trim, so I've got the wires tucked out of sight and I plug it into the car's 12V socket.

I think the best value is a 1080p local-only dash cam that takes an SD card. You don't need all the online stuff and accounts.
