In Christ we have hope of life after death. He is "the resurrection and the life" (John 11:25), and He promises, "Because I live, you also will live" (John 14:19). Christ is our only hope of life after death. And when Christ comes again He gives us immortality. We will never again live under the shadow of death, for we have eternal life.
