It may be hard to remember, but George Clooney and Brad Pitt co-starred in a movie, “Wolfs,” that Apple released just two months ago.

On Friday, the film’s writer and director Jon Watts said Friday that a sequel is no longer happening; in a follow-up interview with Deadline, he explained that he “no longer trusted Apple as a creative partner.”

I don't think Apple was ever the "creative partner". I think Apple gave you the money.

reply

Yeah, all they create is govt backdoors, debt and fake value

As a result, Watts said he “quietly returned the money they gave me for the sequel” and canceled the project.

Quietly, in a conversation with reporters.

I haven't watched this cause I'm a bit afraid it's another movie that's mostly a party + payday for the superstar cast.

reply

Lol 😂 I also haven't watched it and most probably won't watch it either. I posted this article just to point the fact that a popular movie director pulled down his film because Apple's shady practices

reply

My wife just told me we did watch it. I guess it was just that memorable

reply

That’s how a lot of the big movies are.
