Teaching Bitcoin without a testnet is a bit complicated, especially in low-resource conditions. Until a while ago, with Testnet3 running smoothly, it was pretty easy, to put it one way. But things got complicated when this testnet started having problems, we only have Testnet4 left and Sparrow supports it well but other applications like NUNCHUK don't. So we had to use our heads.
The first thing was to start SPARROW on Testnet4, create a wallet while being offline, then I explain why, although most people know it.
Then it was NUNCHUK's turn, I also started on Testnet, this application doesn't say which one, but if you create a wallet on Testnet, it will be on Testnet3 and you won't be able to receive anything from the Testnet4 faucets. So what I did was create a wallet from the seed phrase of the wallet created on SPARROW, since NUNCHUK doesn't use public keys. But no problem, you create the wallet from the SPARROW seed and boom, done. I did this offline too. Then I DELETED the KEY in NUNCHUK so I had an ONLYWATCH wallet.
You might think that creating the wallets in Sparrow was enough, and you're right if the internet was easier to access and everyone had a laptop. But that's not the case here.
Then I started testing. I received from the Testnet4 faucet. And in another wallet created in NUNCHUK using another SPARROW seed in Testnet4, I received from the Bitcoin I had in the first one, but I signed the transaction in SPARROW while I was offline.
This has made me very happy, since where we live, you know where I'm from, resources are scarce, so we have to use Testnet no matter what. So I'll be able to teach others, at tomorrow's meeting, how to create an Onchain wallet, only Bitcoin. How to make transactions and how to recover your wallets from the seed, and we will also be testing how to sign a transaction offline and transmit with an OnlyWatch wallet.
This solution is practical here since acquiring HARDWARE WALLETS here is complicated, although @Cuba_BTC (the CUBA_BITCOIN community) is already helping with the Jade.
We hope to be able to share with the community how we are doing in these meetings and that more people try the freedom of Bitcoin.

Great project.
What parts were students confused over? What level of bitcoin knowledge did they have, before this training?
reply
In this case, it is a basic course based on the experience of El Salvador "My First Bitcoin". The students know that Bitcoin exists and want to learn. Some have knowledge of "cryptocurrencies", mainly shitcoins. This time, we have to learn about onchain wallets. To do the practices, we will use Testnet4, which is the one that is working. It would be creating a wallet, making transactions, deleting the wallet and restoring from the seed. Very briefly, they will see the use of a transaction using an OnlyWatch wallet and the offline signature.

Hola!

Gracias a Dios no me toca esa parte. Vivo fuera de la isla grande, así que por esa parte estamos salvados. Los otros si están en peores condiciones. La comunidad Bitcoin acá está luchando por educar y adoptar.
