Yesterday, I had the chance to shoot these photos with a friend who's a model. We both needed to do some polaroid-style shots for our portfolios – him as a model and me as a photographer, since it's something we're both frequently asked to do. Clients (models) often request this from me, and companies ask him for it.
First, I'll show you the edited version with all the photos together, as it gives off more of a polas vibe.
Polas are basic photos, without filters, so that agents can see the model in their most natural state.
Now, I'll show you each photo individually. For this shoot, I used my Canon RP camera with a 50mm f/2.8 lens and a Speedlite flash with a 50cm octabox at a 45-degree angle to the model.
As usual, I'll start with the full-body shots:
Since my friend is a model, I didn't have to guide him with poses. He already knew what to do, and everything flowed super smoothly during the shoot.
Medium shots:
And now I'll show you my favorite photos because they're close-ups:
In the end, both the model and I were super satisfied with the results of this photoshoot.
I hope you like them as much as we do!
