That's the thing about excess government spending. It's like a drug. Once you try to take it away the patient goes into withdrawal. Better to not start using in the first place.

It's correct. I've always counted the rate -1 to -2 % for the same reason. However it's not as dark as CNBC is painting it.
There's also an Indian media house 'The Times' and it's repeatedly calling a recession for America. Because I regularly have my keen eyes on both sides, it seems like there's a game going on between Indian and US media about who spits better shit about whose economy?
