Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, announced on the 1st, “We have agreed to postpone taxation of virtual assets for two years.”
Park Geun-hye held a press conference at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul on this day to make this announcement, saying, “After in-depth discussions on the exemption from taxation on virtual assets, we believe that now is the time for additional institutional overhaul.” Regarding the supplementary budget bills designated by National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik, Park explained, “The government has proposed 13 bills, and we will process eight of them, which have no issues between the ruling and opposition parties, at tomorrow’s plenary session.” She added, “We will have additional discussions today and decide on the direction of processing the five bills.” She emphasized, “There are also bills that we will reject,” saying, “We plan to reject the inheritance and gift tax bill.”
Many politicians here are shitcoiners. They do not want to get taxed on their holdings.
That's great, taxes are postponed, will they be eliminated too?
