When people say "Blackrock is doing A, B, C"....I think they don't even understand the basics of the market.
"Blackrock" and "Vanguard" just package and sell shares to public investors. The "shareholders" own those miners, not Blackrock.

While technically true, do you really believe the shareholders are going to take a stand in support of libertarian principles regarding bitcoin?
That being said, what exactly do people think Blackrock can do to Bitcoin? Censoring transactions seems to be the most I can envision them doing, but there will always be miners who are willing to take any tx. I doubt they have enough capital to acquire 51% of the hash rate.
