It also really screws up the 3 batter rule. I mean if you have your lefty specialist in because you are facing L R L but then they put in Aaron Judge instead of one of the lefties and you can't change the pitcher is kind of crazy.
Its just beyond common sense in my mind... a truly stupid idea
