A pretty cool thing that has already happened is that some of our premium users, who primarily use the app for workouts wanted to play challenges and messaged us asking how to get more sats.
Some of them actually won challenges, and one even messaged me saying they looked up places where Bitcoin was accepted and bought coffee somewhere that accepted Lightning.
It’s possible to put Bitcoin in the hands of the mainstream audience and let them to actually use and spend it. However, for this to happen, overall adoption needs to grow.. at least in terms of the number of places accepting Lightning payments.
Another thing to note is that the mainstream audience is often confused about 'sats.' They’ve heard of Bitcoin, but 'sats' isn’t widely recognized. I’m considering switching to the sats symbol Bitkit proposed—it could make it much easier for everyone to understand what they’re earning. Or just using 'Bits' instead of 'sats'.
A lot of people have messaged us saying, "Hey, where’s the Bitcoin we were supposed to earn? The app just says 'sats'"
That's awesome. That's what @Undisciplined and I are trying to do with stacker sports podcast. To try and drive interest in the Sports territory to those that might not necessarily be current bitcoin holders or users. We know once people use the site and start zapping and getting zapped they will stick around and learn more about bitcoin.

That’s super cool! It’s a super hard to onboard the mainstream, but definitely possible!
It basically takes one WhatsApp-level Bitcoin app to get Bitcoin into the hands of millions!

I should've written billions instead millions
