Earlier today the House Ethics Committee met to discuss and vote on the release of Former Rep. Gaetz's ethics report that he tried to dodge. Well before the meeting we learned that the Ranking Member Susan Wild would NOT be attending and since the Committee is split 50-50 guaranteed there would be no vote like initially planned. Just a few minutes ago they released the following statement

Now that the House has just started it votes for today two additional votes are going to be triggered. Both are point-of-privilege orders that Rep. Casten and Rep. Cohen had enacted two days ago.
