pull down to refresh

Chlebnikov poetry is a tribute to freedom, literature is a tribute to freedom and human fluorishing. Being the author a crazy poet, an american suicidal writer or an ancient scottish ballad singer. Let's remember it, now that we all westerners think that the russian culture is all oppression and dictatorship.
For me it’s much more pleasant To look at the stars Than to sing up a prisoner To a death sentence. For me it’s much more pleasant To listen to the voices of flowers, Whispering: «It’s he» Bending their heads, As I walk through the garden — Than to see the black rifles Of the guard Killing those who want To kill me. That’s why I will never, No, never, become the Governor!
Russian are being demonized in general in the west mainly because the Czar Николай Александрович Романов refused to stablish a central bank as the Rothschild were demanding.

Come on!! I liked it!
I would say that financial freedom is the most desired desire of my heart... I liked the phrase...
"For me it is much more pleasant to hear the voices of the flowers, whispering: "It is he" bowing their heads"..

I wish these poetic lines were mine XD
I have to say that Mr Chlebnikov was (and still is) a brilliant poet.
