The Departures was a masterpiece! I cried like a baby when I saw that one. I think it won best foreign film award in the 2009 Oscars. I just looked it up, [that was the year](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/81st_Academy_Awards) Slumdog Millionaire was the big winner, winning 8 Oscars; Heath Ledger won best supporting actor as The Joker in The Dark Knight; WALL-E was the best animated film. Overall a great year for films.

I plan on going to watch a Hong Kong movie called The Last Dance with my wife this weekend. It's a movie about the funeral business in Hong Kong. How a funeral agent and a Taoist Priest have differences in views and believes while having to work together to transcend the souls of the dead and the souls of the living.
