I didn't watch this whole thing but based on what I saw in timestamps, there was no mention of Ross or Bitcoin. Did anyone watch the whole thing to confirm. I can't get myself to sit through the video. How easily could these promises just be completely forgotten by the gernal public. Do you think he will do way he said?

Politicians usually do only 25% of what they offer... and that's almost always the case, I also think Trump was the least bad option for the world, the big damage was leaving the Socialist Democrats in power. and the best of all is that "bitcoin doesn't need Trump, Trump needs Bitcoin"

Horton's Law is relevant to this point:
Politicians only keep the promises you wish they wouldn't.

Only the worst gets through. I guess this is one of those situations like third and fourth marriages; didn’t learn the lessons from the first ones. It seems politics is the same for the plebes.

Unfortunately, Ross does need Trump
reply
This is true. I really hope he follows through with this one. This isn't right.
reply
I agree that this is the best option we have. And while it would be cool to see him follow through, we don't need it whatsoever.
reply
Remember this:
Once a politician opens their mouth to speak, they're lying.
I'm sorry.

Also, remember Woods' Law:
No matter who you vote for, you get John McCain.
reply
Lol. That's a new one for me. Funny. I think he was a senator or something in my state.
reply
So, in your case, it was literally true.
reply
Seems so.

Been there done that. Ron Paul was the choice, but the McCainanites f*cked up the conventions. Overwhelming vote for Paul, McCain is the party choice; screwed again. It is not worth voting because Stalin always gets to count.
reply
Don't be. I agree. And we don't need him. It would be cool to see him follow through with anything he said though.

2x'd through it. Zero mention of Bitcoin or Ross. No big surprise there.
Obviously, he read a prepared script to get the btc vote, not comprehending much of what he was saying, and likely hasn't given it a second thought since.
reply
That's what I figured. Kind of sucks. But we don't need him in Bitcoin obviously. I hope he follows through with his word on Ross. But if he doesn't, what does it matter. Generally voters probably aren't too concerned with these things. How can he be heals accountable?

To be fair it was Fox that didn't directly ask the question, though interviewer did thoroughly enquire about other pardons, Hunter Biden, Jan6 jailed, etc, which would have been a good opportunity for him to mention Ross.
Only thing we can do is make it worth his while to keep his word, which would be out of character for any politician, but especially Trump.
His ego is extremely sensitive; probably most effective way to put pressure on him is viral meme campaign making him look stupid if he doesn't follow through.

I 2x'd through the shorter version. IIRC most of it was the CBS anchor attempting to re-litigate Jan 6, FUD tariffs and immigration policy, attempts to get a planned political lawfare confession, and questions about Ukraine peace talks.

I have recently found a way to 2.5x the damn things. Still no mention of anything of my interest. Just the interviewers anxiety.
reply
I suppose the topics are directed by the interviewer. Great idea to 2x. I forget about that feature..
reply
We are all too self-absorbed in our problems to remember the lies spun to us by conniving politicians
reply
I would rather say we only remember the lies spun directly to our wants and desires, but there are different lies for different people. Enough lies to go around, no scarcity there.
reply
It's true. We forget about the bigger picture
