Yes, that was my feeling about the three movies. Different budgets, different times and different technology created much different movies, All of them had notable actors and actresses in them, all were good and all had different foci. I still liked them all.

You can not compare all of 3,
-Lynch it was in 1984 so he did what it could with the bugdet , special effects on this moment. But, it s a huge at that time .
-The book it s all the best version ( it s your imagination that creates the universe) 
-And the last movie diferent budget, diferent special efects ...in a way it s better but diferent times...
