I'm not familiar with TPL but I looked it up now and saw that it's a real estate company that owns over 880000 acres in 20 counties in western texas and is one of the largest private landowners in the state of texas. Do you know the main reason for its good performance on the stock market? Do they have oil on that land?
I think it’s a safe dividend play and oil play. If you got in yearly your yield must be crazy high.
Back when I was on the hunt for dividend stocks I thought TPL would be a safe bet
