Rather than calling it trustless money i would like to call it Open Money, where no-one in particular is in control of it. Because you can still have open money and then add trust for convenience, but at the end of the day its open money, and if one institution or piece of software breaks or otherwise harms people, then another one can be used and if it doesent exist, it can be formed without needing permission. Its not perfect but its better than what we got now imo.
