This is a state of war and exactly what the West is accusing Russia of doing. However, Russia held a plebiscite to decide to annex the Donbass. This is just what THEY want, lots of confusion and killing and THEY are getting it. BTW, @TomK, who is taking the southern part of Syria and parts of Lebanon as their own territory contra the UN charter and rules of civilized wars?
