Jeff Garzik is probably best known as the lead developer of SegWit2X in 2017.
Today, he is architecting a project called Hemi – basically building a bridge between Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Back in October 2010, he wrote a "patch" to increase the Bitcoin block size to 7MB as a way of matching PayPal's average transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1347.msg15366
He also worked on the Linux kernel and has an extensive experience in the world of open source software.
On Tuesday, 5:30 PM CET, I will interview him on livestream: https://youtube.com/live/no_Nj-MX53w?feature=share
