I though toys r us didn't exist anymore. All the ones I know of where I am at, closed. I had no idea they existed in other countries also.
I have fond memories of patronising Toys R Us outlets when I was a kid/teen. It’s uncanny how globalisation can help people living across the seas to have similar memories

I and my kids used to travel about 70Km to get to the nearest ToysRUs. We were well rewarded for the trip and all the “Are we there yet” questions.

It seems they slightly changed strategies and survived in Japan! If so, we may even see them back here someday.

Good to know they exist still. I have very found memories of toys r us in my own childhood and taking my kids there when they were very young. Quite a place.

It was the definitive go-to place for toys and puzzles for kids aged 0 - 80.
