Germany does not have a competitiveness or human capital problem; it has a political problem. Abandon socialist interventionism, and Germany will be back to its trend of growth and leadership.
Self-inflicted wounds are always the deepest. It looks like Germany has taken self-inflicted wounds in several areas that it did not have to take. Now they are also taking the EU wounds. They are being destroyed by THEM, with no mercy whatsoever.
