It has to be demoralizing to be in New York and getting curbstomped, too! Getting it both coming and going for money losses. Perhaps, they will pick up somebody in the draft that will help them out.

Another embarrassing loss for the Buffalo Sabres hockey team; an 11-game losing streak.  The general manager is blaming high taxes and lack of palm trees for player recruitment difficulties, a ridiculous excuse considering other cold-weather teams' success.  The owner's attempt to reassure the team and fans after a meeting in Montreal backfired spectacularly with the latest crushing defeat.  The team's performance is described as pathetic,  a mismatch against superior opponents.  It's a tough season for the Sabres and their coach, Lindy Ruff.  Clearly,  the team needs serious improvements.
