Cool. Another 13 Moon Woman was a vendor at this event launching her practice as a Bitcoin Artist along with her conceptual work entitled: Bukele's Mantra, 12 Seed Words for a Bitcoin Nation which included a poster/print and 12 small painting of the 12 Seed Words. She was also one of the first to buy Roger's book at the show with it's brilliant title asking a killer question "Would Mao buy Bitcoin?" Her take on the level of curiosity about her work from established bitcoiners at the event on a scale of 1 to 10 was barely a bewildering 2.... She did, however attract kids and a few newbies....No Sales of her paintings were made.... so I guess the "bitcoiners" have seen it all at this point and are not interested in exploring anything or anyone new! A13MW was one of 4 artists at the show. She made a point of visiting the three others, 2 men and one woman and invited each to visit her work thinking that they would have common ground to converse on and would be curious about her work, being "new" on the scene, et all. Not so much. In fact, not at all, proving once again, just how provincial Calgary, Alberta is and how, regardless of the domain, those who live there stick to what they know ---- which is exactly why she left her home province of Alberta decades ago to live in Toronto and Vancouver and travel to Jamaica, Europe, Thailand, Brazil and the USA to learn from other cultures about their most wicked social problems - of which Money is a HUGE one... Oh well, such is the life a poor artist who has been rejected by the fiat facists for decades, one can hope for something different but it's the same old same old.... This week she heads to TO to share about bitcoin with her Jamaican family!
