This week, we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming.
  • We're going to recap the NBA Emirates Cup and our corresponding survivor pool (Congrats to @Carresan).
  • We also have updated NBA power rankings to argue about, plus early trade speculation and the new All Star Game format
  • We'll give our thoughts on the NFL playoff picture, plus why we're each hopeful about our loser teams.
  • Several ~Stacker_Sports contests are ongoing and upcoming: UEFA, Cricket, College Football, NFL Pick 'ems and fantasy playoffs
  • Something about Inside the NHL being renewed. I assume that's a show.
  • And, of course, updating everyone on our recent sports betting adventures in Degenerate Corner
Share your thoughts about those or any other sports topics and we'll try to fit them into the conversation.

Thanks for the mention! Just remember that UEFA pool will return on January 21st. A long gap over Christmas and January ! You may think it's a lot of time but this year it's the first time that Champions League will be played in January. Previously competition ended the group phase in December and Knock out stage started at mid February.

Not bad. Most of the North American sports take several consecutive months off.
I've been told that America will be great again, upon resumption of the UEFA pool.

It’s called Faceoff: Inside the NHL. I will explain it on the pod. Maybe I’ll have to actually watch 5 minutes of an episode first or maybe just wing it. It was notable news in the hockey world so I assume some folks watch it.
Also, “temporary” loser team on my end. Your team will have to prove itself to get out of loser status. It has a long history of loserness.

I miss don cherry and his suits

Me too. He was treated very unfairly. The woke monster got him.

Fair enough, but if your team weren't losers, you wouldn't be thinking about next season yet.
