I get it. I just think it's funny that the team shortens to the Commies and they are beholden to the state. It's fitting.

Lol I didnt even think of that! I am so used to them being called their REAL name. I will die with them being the Redskins and Cleveland being the Indians. Thank god all that stuff has stopped for the most part cause it was so freaking stupid.

I mean yeah I get it but you NEVER see Commanders' gear in DC. 99% of it is Redskins and then the other 1% is Washington Football Team which I mean sounds like a soccer team but is much better than the Commanders.
