I do not think you should be anything other than yourself....if you feel like "polishing" a professional facade is worthwhile then you do that, if not-then don't....either way is perfectly ok and perfectly acceptable.

The "key" in my thinking is to not "lose" yourself in that "polished" version? The "game" is hard to change from the bottom up - I look for so many changes happening as Bitcoin progresses that this question becomes moot over time :)
