The German economy is lagging behind technologically, has structural weaknesses and is suffering from the consequences of geopolitical changes and misguided energy policies.
Despite these challenges, optimism is appropriate if society takes action and does not leave the discourse to doomsayers.
What is needed is less bureaucracy, greater promotion of corporate responsibility and a return to a revitalized social market economy. Work must pay and the internal market in the EU should be completed without further common debt. Economic change requires courage and reforms - a long but necessary road.

The Germans are getting what they voted for, good and hard. They have the responsibility for stopping the dismantling of their economy due to Greenie policies. They also seem to be going in big for lefty/Marxist/socialist/communist/murderer type policies. They have the power to say “NO”, but they are not using it. It is the same with the invader problem, they welcome invaders. THEY did a good job on the German psyche after WWII.

We will see, won’t we. If the lefty/Marxist/socialist/communist/murderers don’t shut down the AfD there might just be a change in government and government policy. I don’t know though, they are trying to out law a political party. Strictly banana republic stuff.
