The U.S. needs more energy for AI and must achieve net-zero emissions. But you will not get that with solar and win. And since gas is only half as bad as coal, its still very shity in CO2 per KwH overall.
Bureaucracy and fear is still a big hurdle for nuclear. Those are two very hard nuts to crack.

The US sucks compared to the rest of the world. Shouldn't it be leading the world?
Canada, Sweden, Finland and France have the most advanced nuclear power plants. The US should hurry up and close the gap.

The United States is preparing, (although late compared to China), the fuel to power these plants -- Helium -3 found in abundance on the Moon, as it eliminates the use of radioactive materials for clean energy. This will take many years, but space super powers are already studying ways to exploit this material

If that is another task that Trump should put a lot of emphasis on when he takes over... Because it is a very relevant issue!! Especially if we take into account that in a world as fast-paced as this one where resources are increasingly scarce... we must be well prepared for the future and for me nuclear energy is crucial and very important!!
