This would already be a step away from someone who spent weeks or months on the legacy platforms waiting to get sponsored, someone to purchase their merch, or get some exclusive "close friends" subscription package going. Plus they are earning the hardest asset in the world. So though it's no guarantee that they can earn a living on Nostr. they can certainly supplement their income and earn on day one just by creating an npub.
