"Democracy"!
The media, especially CNN, has been throwing around this word and getting it into naive people's heads that the United States is a democracy.
It is not! It's a REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC...full stop.

What does that even mean?
I'm mocking the Washington Post's motto, "Democracy Dies in Darkness", which they adopted after Donald Trump's first election. Not sure if it's still their motto
Yeah, I knew I heard that before but I feel like it's been awhile. So, it seems their plan was to just say the word as many times as possible so it doesn't die in the darkness. Save the word destroy the concept, they can put a check on that lol. By nature democracy is oppression, pushing the minority agenda backs the majority population into a corner, forced to follow laws and regulations that are only catering to a select few at the expense of the tax payer. I'm sure you know all this, I just love having a place to rent about it without censorship. If I was saying this on reddit or x, hahaaa
I get triggered when someone mentions Democracy as something positive / worth protecting.
