Yes, I know about the gear problem, but I meant that they were able to hit the runway without the gear. So getting off the runway sucks hard...

South Korea plane crash (video)

So it wasnt the runway being to short the plane actually went off the runway... The plane they think might have hit a bird/birds before landing and in the videos it appears there was an issue with the landing gear.
