Yeah, all the mainstream platforms are so saturated with infuriating reminders of how capitalism has gone off the richter scale and it's never coming back to being a positive aspect of a first world country. Ads saturate everything and the things the people involved with these ad companies and companies in general do to get exposure and money are preposterous, esp big pharma. No eyes here

At least Brave for the integrated ad blocker, Freetube would be even better

Brave Browser 🦁 or Librewolf or even Firefox with that block plugin (I don't remember the name).

My choice was Brave 🦁, both phone and computer. All my friends and family use it.

It gives privacy, blocks ads and trackers, is customizable, and works perfectly on any platform.

Sure, you have other places similar to YouTube, or even better, but there's still great content in there.

I have been avoiding invasive YouTube ads for a long time. I started using YouTube in the Brave browser as the solution to ads. And for a while now, to improve my privacy, I have started using New Pipe.

I still watch it with SmartTube, NewPipe and FreeTube

I've started checking out Rumble again. I had previously largely switched to Odysee from YouTube.

I don't find that zap.feed works well enough or has enough content, yet, but I'd love to use it more.
