Yeah this is a common thing esp. when there is going to be a State Funeral. DC is going to be an absolute shit show with Jan 3 Congress is sworn in, Jan 6 the Electoral Votes are counted, before Jan 9th (when he will lay in state at the National Cathedral) he will also lay in state in the Rotunda for at least a day, we wrap it up with the Presidential Inauguration on the 20th... I mean oooof it is gunna be hell here

I'd argue this is the perfect time. Everything is already up and everyone is already working so why not just slip it in. Its also the end of security protection so ya know if its a little more but it is the end of it well that's fine cause its a one time expense.
