I'm also planning on going the meat + dairy route.

I guess it depends on where you're located when it comes to meat prices and how feasible it is. Glad I don't live in Europe.

as someone on primarily beef + diary diet I can confirm the cost is huge (i do eat some rice and potatoes + the occasional vegetable/fruit).
