I actually don't like he idea of forming such groups. They create divides but it's what it it is. NATO vs BRICS may be some day. It's good to get together on same page for these countries, I doubt Pakistan will join it, considering India is there.

But BRICS Is more like a club than a alliance, being a BRICS country doesn’t mean much, they don’t have any obligation economically or militarily to help each other.

Yes, I like it. They are a club not an alliance as of now but who knows what future brings in. I'm however not very sure about any promising future for Brics.
