That's right. I finally read @realBitcoinDog's book.
A very fun and creative story our friend @realBitcoinDog has come up with here. He manages to weave the cute story of Sheila (grandma pup) telling her grandpuppies, Sebastina and Hunter, tales of her travels through the Australian outback to learn how Bitcoin works, with the technical breakdowns nicely.
Sheila follows 3 scents to discover and learn about the Difficulty adjustment, Genesis Block, and 21M supply limit. With the help of some other native Australian animals of course. As she reaches the end of each scent trail, RBD gives us a peak into the source code to break down how it works.
Great book for bitcoin beginners and veterans alike. I enjoyed both the fun fictional story and RBD's technical breakdowns.
I give it 4 PAWS UP.
If you are interested in reading this book check out @realBitcoinDog's bio. I will gift an epub copy to the first person that responds to this post with a dog emoji.

I will have to check it out. Maybe I'll make it an award for a ~Dogs_And_Cars meme contest.

Do it!!

Is it a children's book or written for adults?
reply
Not for small children but I would give it to my 14 year old to read. It's for everyone.
reply
Kids would appreciate the fictional story, and adults appreciate the actual C++ code breakdown

Fabulous write up and a pretty unique concept that seems to get your approval!

I think it was a pretty clever way to structure the book rather than hitting you with the technical stuff right off the bat.
reply
And from what you say; it seems to hit the mark for all levels of BTC knowledge.

Another example I think too of where self-publishing is great! Tough to get a traditional publisher to do something like this
reply
I would imagine it’s a near impossible task unless they are a specialist publisher; in this case either dogs or bitcoin :) Good job!

Wait, @realBitcoinDog wrote a book?
reply
He is kind of a big deal. Just ask him.

πŸ• RBD seems to have done a great job! Thank you @grayruby! Send me the copy please.

DM me on nostr with the email address you want the book sent to and I will buy one today.
reply
Thank you. I'll do it. Did you buy the paperback or epub version for yourself?
@grayruby I want to know if you ever laughed out loud! And if you learned anything knew.
And if it made you want to STACK MORE SATS!

As you can see from this post. I cashed in all my NFL betting profits made in Trudeau cuck bucks and swept them into Bitcoin.
All because of your book! It has nothing to do with the fact that is what I planned to do at the end of the season. It was the book that convinced me.
