I play this game and the original and damn, it would've been really fun(ny) to watch Elon actually play on his own character, make his own build, die repeatedly, struggle through the campaign to get to endgame, etc.
Instead, he's claiming to be top 20 on the a hardcore ladder on a character that was clearly bought or boosted for him. A PoE vet can tell by his gameplay, items, and the way he talks about items that he's been handed an account that practically can't die and given a few basic instructions on how to play the character.
It's hilarious watching him get basic things wrong despite him having such a high level character in hardcore. 😂
Oh Elon, thanks for the new memes.
Here's a two veteran PoE players ripping how absolutely clueless he is:

I was wondering how he actually had time to do that. He's brilliant, but he loves attention at the moment.

I hate it when they pander to gamers like this.

And it's so easy to tell in this particular game when someone has RMT'd or been handed a leveled account, I don't think he realized.

what does RMT mean?

Real money transaction.
PoE has a pretty free market since 99.9% of all items are tradeable to other players, that's a huge part of the fun for me, selling items I find, or finding a niche in the market.
Naturally, with no trade restrictions, you can give a very expensive item to someone and they pay you with real money somehow.
I don't think he RMT'd, but the account he's playing on clearly plays the game a lot, and built up his character so that even a monkey could sit down and play.
