No, I really like suggestions. You know I'm from India and my English is not a bit US. What we learn in schools here is Queen's English which is very much Old English type. I've even learnt English by relying on suggestions. I never went to an English Club or didn't study in an English medium school. Not many people from my background speak or write English in India, but it's the suggestions that made me what I'm today. So, please don't stop yourself even if it's meddling in any sense.
